NBI Clearance, Do You Have One Already?

If you are looking for a job right now (like me), for sure you'll be required to have an NBI clearance. In the last few months, there has been a lot of issues about it because of the slow progress with its release. As they've said, they were trying to fix their system.

Well, that's over now. I got my clearance in NBI Tagaytay, which was really cool (in one way or another), because I got my clearance within the day. You'd usually get yours that fast too, if you don't have anyone else with the same name as yours. Operations usually start at around 7am.

So here are some tips in getting your NBI clearance without getting bored or impatient:
1. Go to the NBI branch, or whatever you call it, satellite, early - and I do mean early. I got there around 6am already, and I was already number 117. They only accommodate 500 people in one day, by the way.
2. Have some snacks ready. Waking up early and having no breakfast at all will make you go all dizzy and hypoglycemic.
3. Bring along a book or anything else to read. I wouldn't recommend bringing your iPod along, 'cause you'll be waiting for your name to be called once the process has been done, you wouldn't want to miss your name, do you?
4. Have your pen ready and at least one valid ID. (And P115 - payment for the NBI clearance with the purpose of local employment)
5. And please, do wear proper attire. No shorts, no slippers. Remove your earrings (for the guys).

Once the application process is done, you'll be able to get your clearance in a matter of an hour or two. They say that there are some who get it in a few minutes. If you're lucky, then you'll be able to get your NBI clearance without going through a lot of hassle.

Divisoria Diva

Do you have any plans of going to Divisoria at this time of the year? It's almost Christmas time and Filipinos all over the country (I'm not joking, there are those from Davao who go to Divisoria for their goods) are in frenzy of buying gifts and merchandise for Christmas. If you're in a tight budget, then of course, Divisoria is the best option for you. There, you can find the most affordable gifts imaginable - for kids, for teenagers, for adults. Just be careful though, products from Divisoria have not gone under quality control inspection. So choose wisely. :)
And don't forget to be aware of your surroundings. Since there are a lot of people, there are also those people who are just waiting for an opportunity to do something bad such as getting your money or your valuables.

I am now a LICENSED Registered Nurse

After four years of Hell's Kitchen-ish studying at De La Salle Health Sciences Institute for BS in Nursing, 3 months of intensive review for the Nursing Licensure Exam, one month and a half anxious waiting for the Licensure Exam Results and one month and a week wait for my license: IT IS HEEEEERE! :)

I can't imagine the joy that I felt when I first saw my license (and that was like, 10 minutes ago). Too bad I have to wait for 3 years to renew my horrible picture there. But anyway, it seems like it is all worth it. I can now apply and apply and apply for a job as a STAFF NURSE in big hospitals. Yeah, it's kind of my dream. Though I'm not sure if they'll immediately accept newly graduate nurses to work as staff nurses.

Oh yeah! I cannot stop wiggling right now. :D

Be Stress Free with the Mimo Mini Massager

A few weeks ago, I got this deal (yes, another deal), for a Mimo Mini Massager. I was quite curious because it only costs, if I remember it right, only P150, and that already includes the shipping fee. So I immediately bought one for myself. I chose pink, of course.
It was absolutely cute! You can put three AAA batteries to activate it, or you can plug it in to your laptop or desktop using a USB connector. The USB connector is already included in the package. You only need to press it, and ti will already vibrate. It was definitely more than what I've paid for and all I can say for the company who had this deal is THANKS A LOT! :)

Now everyone in the family is enjoying the Mimo Mini Massager. You can also find it in other online shops. It is also available worldwide and I think they produce it in Japan or China. Just browse and browse on group buying sites and you will surely find something that can give you your money's worth - just like this Mimo Mini Massager!

What's to Say About Breaking Dawn Part 1

A few weeks ago I got this deal from Ensogo, P240 for the advanced screening of Breaking Dawn Part 1 in SM Mall of Asia. At first I thought that it was kind of expensive, since the regular price of the advanced screening was only P220. I've read about the whole deal, and it appear that the "price" of the advanced screening for the movie on November 17 at 8pm was P500. And it was on sale on the Ensogo website. I really have no idea if the P500 price was true. But then again, I didn't care that much, I just wanted to watch the movie badly. And I wanted to watch it ahead, since the regular showing date was on the 18th.

The preview for the movie was released months before November. And guess what? I didn't want to watch the preview 'cause it would just increase my anxiety. I watched the preview on November 7th. :)
The voucher for the movie tickets was supposed to be claimed on the 17th only, and it should be claimed at not later than 2 hours before the start of the movie. I was already in MOA by 4pm, and I can say that it was the longest 4-hour wait I've ever done (for the month of November, lol!) At around 8pm, the line was soo long, and I'm not exaggerating. It was free seating, so if you were at the end of the line, that would have sucked.

It was all worth the wait when the movie started playing. I have read the book for about 8 times already (not kidding about that). So I guess I can say that the movie really did well. And I should exaggerate on the bed scenes. If you're planning to watch the movie with your little sister, please don't. It was sexy, nice, and all that, rated PG please! :)

The movie definitely captured the scenes I have imagined during the time I was reading the book. And I got a message for those people posting on Facebook saying that they've wasted money because the movie was "bitin" - I've got news for you, people.. It says Part 1. It's supposedly bitin. So don't go saying that you've wasted your money.

One who knows the story very well, I think, can appreciate the movie. I just can't wait for the last part. I do hope that they release it on July. :)

Oh, and by the way, I watched it with my sister and my brother-in-law. (Just in case she reads this, and gets mad at me for not mentioning her.) :D
